| Day 2 was "At Sea." This worked out nicely because getting to the airport and flying from Tampa to Seattle, and then getting a ride to our hotel room, and then making a quick visit to the Seattle Fish Market, and the next day catching a quick breakfast at the hotel, and then taking a taxi to Pier 11 where the Majestic Princess was waiting for us, and then going through the boarding process - which was easy - but it was still a process, and then we were on the ship where we did some relaxing and had a nice dinner meal at the Crown Grill.
With all that we needed a day of rest and Day 2 was perfect. We slept in until Room Service brought us our breakfast, and then we went down for two of Naturalist presentations. Joyce had a spa treatment which she enjoyed very much. And before too long it was dinner that was a special treat for suite passengers: It was a very nice Chinese dinner. Lastly, we took in a show in the big theater, which was enjoyable, plus there were lots of more things to do that night, except that we were tired and returned to our room early to be ready for an early excursion the next morning in Ketchikan. |
