Set on 42 acres along Oahu’s North Shore, the Polynesian Cultural Center has a lagoon that hosts daily canoe tours and an exciting cultural Canoe Pageant.

Jay and Joyce enjoyed a private tour of the Center with about 116 other guestes. Our Tour Guide weas very knowledgable and nice, but admitted that time precluded a complete tour and invited us back the next day, if possible, to complete the experience. She did select good "Islands" to tour andd good events to partici[pate in at the islands we visited. We were with her from noon to 5 PM.

Then we were off to the Center's award-winning Ali’i Luau which takes guests on a journey to learn about Hawaii’s royalty while enjoying traditional Polynesian food and entertainment. This luau food was presented buffet style, and included a very good salad bar, a variety of main entrée selections, and a desert table with lots of choices. Plus there were numerous drink selections.

We ended our time at the Center by attending its show “Breath of Life,” featuring over 100 performers and the thrill of Samoan fireknife dancing.
