| In and Around the Hale Koa Hotel and the Island of Oahu | ||
| The fact is that one could go to the Hale Koa Hotel for a week’s vacation, never leave the property, and have a great time. The Hale Koa is fully modernized, the rooms are clean and reasonably spacious and well decorated, and our patio had a view of the ocean.
Additionally there are shops in the hotel and vendors who come in three days a week to sell their goods, plus a variety of dining and evening shows, the latter at a small cost. There are also pools and other hotel activities; and there is Waikiki Beach right there.
 Plus there are some great snorkeling sites such as at Hanauma Bay, good dining on Waikiki Beach, and Hop On - Hop Off bus lines that cover the island.
