For the most part, Jay and Joyce did the relaxing part. That included "reserving" lounge chairs in the adult–only Ssolarium at the bow of the ship, that also had both hot and cold spot tubs.
There was also a pretty good nine hole miniature golf course that Jay and Joyce played a number of times, with Joyce being the winner most often.
The crew also put on two parades and they were fun to watch.
And cruise ship eating is also a good experience for most people. There are those who say you will gain 5 pounds on a cruise. But with breakfast room service, food available almost 24 hours a day, nice dining rooms, and for-a-fee specialty dining, that number may be a bit conservative.
Jay and Joyce sampled two of the venues. One was Hooked Seafood, well known for its seafood offerings; and the second was Chops Grille, renowned for its steaks. Good experiences.
There was a Ice Show on the first night (Sunday) that was very good. Monday was spent in the Solarium with some miniature golf, culminating the day with an excellent meal at Hooks. Tuesday we again reserved "our spot" i the Solarium, got some professional puictures taken at the golf course, and took in the
Of course, every cruise ship has its casino. The Wonder was no exception. Joyce made a brief try at a slot machine – no luck. Jay made a number of visits to the casino where most of the time the $10 Blackjack table was absolutely full. On the three times he did find a seat to play he (1) broke even, (2) lost, and (3) made some money; but overall he was a loser – not too much money, but still a loser. But fun.
Additionally, Joyce purchased a PhotoBook, a bound book with a number of ship pictures and the opportunity to add 34 pictures taked by Royal Caribbean photographers to add to the book, so Jay and Joyce spent some times in line to get photos taken.
