National Naval Aviation Museum

Pensacola Naval Air Station
November 25, 2014

The National Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola Naval Air Station was an amazing place to visit. Although not that important, I do comment that admission is free, a bus tour of the historic Navy planes flightline is free, and guided tours by volunteers who are generally retired naval aviators are also free. You can spend some money riding simulators and at the gift shop, but that is voluntary, of course.

The tour guides have a wealth of interesting stories that make each stop on the tour very, very interesting. Don't attempt a visit without taking one of the guided tours - they help make the day!

This place rivals the National Air and Space Museum, and may be even better.
