Discovery Cove is a theme park owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, and located in Orlando, Florida. It is the sister park of SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando. Visitors to the park can interact with a range of marine animals including bottlenose dolphins. Discovery Cove is where you can immerse yourself in adventure everywhere you turn and forget about your cares for the day. All you need to focus on is discovery -- interacting with dolphins, birds, fish and rays in an all-inclusive setting. Attendance is limited to 1,000 guests per day at this reservations-only adventure, setting it apart from the other Orlando attractions. The admission price is a bit steep, but the attraction is almost all-inclusive. Guests are provided all-you can eat breakfast and lunch buffets, wet suits, lounge chairs, towels, masks and snorkles, sunscreen, and all-day snacks and beverages. What not to like?
We arrived early. That gave us plenty of time to get our wet suits and masks and snorkels while waiting for the pools to open. We also got to enjoy a good and plentiful breakfast.
We were among the first guests to travel through the bird sanctuary, which was a "stop" along the very nice lazy river area. Because it was early, the birds were hungry and they were very interested in the small cups of bird food privided by the Discovery Cove staff. Note: By the time we left the bird sanctuary, most birds seemed to have had their fill of food and were not so anxious to interact with guests. Moral of the Story: Be among the first guests into the bird sanctuary for the best experience.

The second area for guests was the Dolphin Pool where guests could learn about and interact with bottlenose dolphins. A highlight of the visit.
The third area for guests to explaore was a pool with numerous fish that one could swim among. You could even "pet" stingrays as they passed by you. This was a very fun area of the park.
