| For the second straight October Bonnie and I managed to slip away for an ocean cruise. We booked early and got a good rate. The ship was the Carnival Glory and it sailed from Miami. This was one of the larger Carnival ships at the time and we had never been on one like it. The drive south was not too bad; about 4 1/2 hours. The ship was very nice. We got to go snorkeling in three different countries and saw the Mayan ruins at Tulum on the Yucatan Peninsula.
