Family members there included Karri and Michael Kernohan, Jay and Joyce Braden, Michelle Wooden, Joseph Gardynik and his fiancé Mallory, Brett Armstrong and his fiancé Nicole, and Tess Gardnyik and her fiancée Raymond Woodruff. Michael and Karri also had some neighborhood friends that they asked to join us for the meal and the evening fireworks.

Thanks to Brett for being the primary chef for cheeseburgers and hotdogs, and to Michael for doing the honors on his specialty grill with the chicken. Other meal items brought in included a pasta salad, a taco salad, mac & cheese, and a baked beans tray. There also were lots of chips and dips to include a very nice vegetable tray. For those who could still manage a dessert, there were cupcakes and brownies. Drinks included unsweetened iced tea, sweetened iced tea, lemonade, and some adult beverages.

After the very nice late lunch meal, we played some games to include a dice bidding game, Mexican Train, the Card Game 31, the Spoons Game, the Petals-on-a-Rose Game, numerous situation puzzles, the Cannibals and Missionaries coin game, and the Arrange-the-Five-Coins game.

The evening fireworks were a blast - literally.
