| Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international campaign that takes place every October to promote breast cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection. It's a time to honor those who have been treated for breast cancer, and to remember those who have lost their lives to the disease.
So on October 6th of this year, Sharon Mueller and Joyce promoted a breast cancer awareness program for our Sunday School class. They filled bags with breast cancer awareness memorabilia, and also offered this memorabilia to class members and guests who have dealt with breast cancer, or have friends who have dealt with this disease. They also provided pink donuts and served pink lemonade. It was a very nice program. |
