Had a nice Thanksgiving at Robert and Natalie's. Sandra and her family flew up with me and we rented a mini-van from Atlanta to Lanett. On the way in we stopped off at Warm Springs, Georgia, and visited FDR's Little White House. Rusty, Anne, and Bonnie Jane came up by car from New Orleans. Natalie and the boys drove in from Destin where they had been vacationing on the beach.
We enjoyed playing golf in Robert's yard, having fun with Rosie, two nights of backyard campfires, a trip to Wild Animal Safari, card games, Lego block building, movie watching, and catching up on family activities. Rusty scared Sydney and Benjamin when they went into the woods. And Benjamin got his dose of "Clash of Clans." Oh, did I mention a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner that included two turkeys, collard greens, broccoli casserole, corn bread dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, Mac and cheese, rolls, and assorted beverages? And did I also mention Robert's famous gravy that he ate most of himself? Glad I brought pants with an elastic waistband. Thanks, Robert and Natalie, for hosting the "Clan."
