Rex and Michelle Benedict traveled to New Jersey to be with their daughter Sarah and her husband Davide to celebrate the birth of the newest addition to the Fuoco family, Christian Rex, born March 8, and entering the world at 8lb 12oz and 21 inches in length. While Michelle stayed for a second week, Rex returned to Melbourne to take care of some affairs there, and invited me over for a couple days of fun and fellowship. We began with a round of golf at the Patrick Air Force Base where Rex played very well and completely dominated me; actually my score was embarrassing.

We returned to the house where Rex played chef did an excellent job fixing us some steaks to give us strength for some fishing the next day at Ponce Inlet.

So the next morning Rex gathered up his gear and we got some bait and soon found ourselves on the fishing pier with many other anglers. Unfortunately, we only caught one fish and that one was not even a keeper. But we did save the day when Rex found a really nice restaurant on the water where we could eat and make up stories about "the one that got away."

The next day it was back to Patrick AFB for little racquetball that we enjoyed until was time for me to leave.
