| In late January Dorothy, Shannon, and Shannon's dog made the trip down to Orlando to fly into Central America where Shannon will be doing a six month internship as part of her degree program with UNC. They traveled by truck to ensure that the weather would meet airline regulations for shipment of pets. Coming back Dorothy was to be met by Jay and Bonnie at the Orlando airport so we could spend some time together visiting and catching up.
But - unknown to Dorothy - Paul had flow into Tampa a few days before and was also there to surprise Dorothy as she arrived. Then we all got to spend a couple of days together at Daytona Beach, to include a nice visit from Troy and Kim. By the way, Shannon is all set up and has begun teaching kindergarten students English. |
