LegoLand

Winter Haven, Florida
July 4, 20165

Even after our LegoLand visit in December of 2015, we still had some tickets left and decided to spend an hour Independence Day Holiday at LegoLand, and to include the LegoLand Water Park that was not open during our December visit.

Steve did the driving, and even with a BRIEF stop to pick up some breakfast food, we made the trip in about 45 minutes, arriving in time to get a good parking space and to visit the ticket counter. With tickets in hand, we waited for a few minutes for the park to open and then continued inside to the Water Park, where we had a few more minutes wait. Once inside, we found some very good chairs upfront near the wave pool and proceeded to have some watery fun.

Near the end of the day, and essentially on our way out, we took in a number of the rides and attractions outside the Water Park. At this time, the lines were very short and we got to have some more fun with just very short waits.

It was a good day and we had a good time, and we left with yet another good experience when we followed Sandra's suggestion to see what it would take to have our Daily Passes upgraded to Annual Passes. It turned out that because of our Florida residency the upgrade to an annual pass cost us nothing, so expect to be back at Legoland more times this summer and more times before the end of the calendar year.

Thanks again to Steve for driving us sdafely there and back.
