Jay and Joyce made their annual visit to the Florida State Fair on Friday, April 23, the second day of festivities. The fair had previously been scheduled in February, but COVID-19 precautions resulted in the fair being moved back about six weeks.

One of the results of this action was that the number of vendors was reduced because many of them had committed to bookings during the new time frame. But it was good fun for eating fair food, attending the Dennis Lee Show, and browsing through the expo halls.

As usual, Joyce visited the horticulture competition area to see how this year’s dish garden winners compared to her previous entries. As usual, it was pretty clear that Joyce could have added to her collection of Best of Show ribbons had she entered..
