The Florida Senior Games are conducted over an eight day period and include competition by age group in many sports.

This year I "aged up" in the 70-74 group and joked that all my opponents would be in wheel chairs.

I won my first match 15-8 15-7, lost in the semi's 5-15 8-15, and won in the consolation 15-9 7-15 11-0. In my second match (the one I lost) my opponent had a great serve working and probably scored 85% of his points directly off the serve or indirectly by killing one of my weak returns. That man ultimately went on to win the Gold. I placed third and received a Bronze.
