Club Med at Sandpiper Bay

Port St. Lucie, Florida
July 11-18, 2015
The BradenClan gathered at Club Med at Sandpiper Bay this July. It was our second visit; the first was in 2009.

Since our first visit, the resort was completely remodeled. In place of the archery range and the nine hole pitch and putt course, there was a sand volleyball facility with many courts (though three of the pitch and putt greens remained).

The swimming pools were also remodeled, with two being removed and two new ones built. A splash pool had also been installed in the mini Club Med area.

As before, there were more activities than we could find time to participate in: Tennis lessons, volleyball lessons, table tennis, golf pitch and putt, sailing, basketball, soccer, pool games, mini-tennis, a driving range and a putting green, bocce ball, swimming, Zumba and yoga sessions, shows at night, and feeding the catfish in the river.

And did I mention eating and drinking as in all inclusive?

We certainly had a good time and there were even votes to return to Club Med next year.
