Joyce Stiles was born and raised in the Tampa area. She attended Hillsborough High School and Hillsborough Community College. At HCC she earned her accreditation as a Registered Nurse and served in that profession culminating as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). After 47 years of service she retired in 2009 but keeps her accreditations (also in Cardiology and Oncology) current and - while always qualifying her comments and recommendations that she is not a doctor - provides excellent medical advice to family and friends. Her years of experience and her close personal relationship with many of Tampa's skilled physicians have literally saved the lives of many people.
