Spent a very nice portion of three days at Pensacola Beach with the family. The Holiday Inn there has an outstanding pool area and it is on the Gulf of Mexico. Steve drove his family and me up from Valrico; Rusty and Anne and Bonnie Jane came in from New Orleans; and Robert and his family came in fron Lanett, Alabama.

The weather forecast was for rain, and we did get some, but not enough to dampen our spirits. Mostly we had sunshine and a good time. For dinner on Wednesday night we found a very nice place to eat that had good seafood and also a place for the kids to play before during and after the meal so that worked out well.
